Photography has always been one of my favourite, but getting shot by a photographer in the way I want, in the place I want and with the clothes I wish to wear on, really gets me going. Something just as awesome happened to me last week, where I jumped up on a thought to wear a saree and walk in the sabzi mandi along with my photographer Tejas Ghariwala.
The idea was to adore the saree but in a totally different way. I wore black leggings, a black corporate coat and some beautiful shenanigans along with a 38 year old saree from my mother’s wardrobe. Tejas was quite surprised watching me pose near various fruit and vegetable vendors in the center of Bhagal, but gradually he too started enjoying the not so taboo act of mine and gave me instantaneous poses to get good shots.
